We moved to the United States in 1990 and my father was always a hard worker throughout his life. Even after reaching America, he continued to work 18 hours a day to ensure his family a wonderful home and a better life.
In December of 1996, my father decided to open a video store at our house and we received a great response from our local Indian community. Many people encouraged us to open a new, Indian store. In July of 1997, my father took the advice and opened Kashmir Groceries and Imports.
With the help of the local Indian community, we continued to make improvements to the store and my intention is to keep it that way. My father Cherian Abraham passed away on February 15th, 2003. He was 58 years old.
As his son, my mission is to pursue his dream of improving our community and providing a better service to the public.
This website is dedicated to my father,
Cherian M. Abraham (April 2, 1944 - February 15, 2003).
We love you.
Celin, Beena, Bijo, Livingston and the rest of the Family.
